A reward? Well she wasn't going to say no to that. "It was planned for me to escort you just in case, I can skilled in combat as a body guard and it would be my pleasure to keep you out of harms way, shall I accompany you for the reminder of the day"?

“That would definitely be appreciated.” He told her.

He turned and walked away down the alley, beckoning her to follow him. He would lead her to his home, a large building, not quite a mansion but close, and he lead her inside. “It’s midday, and it will take us a while to get to the gates. We will wait until morning, get as much daylight as possible, and it will give us time to ready horses.”

"As you wish, I can get provisions prepared and 'pretend' to be one of your maids to not arouse any suspicion onto you. The enemy may catch on it you hire guards". Though in reality it was an excuse to make sure there was no extra threat when Conrad appeared. Not that she thought the Vampire couldn't handle any mere guards. I shall awake you when it it ready to depart then.

"Very good." He said as they entered his home.

He brought her up the stairs and to a door. "This is my room, I will be in here should anything come up. The guest rooms are further down the hall, the best being the last on your right, take that one. I'll retrieve payment for your services miss and bring it to you there."

He opened the door and began getting into a heavy iron chest, which had six locks. He got in and removed a pouch of a few hundred gold pieces, and delivered it to her, before he began to pack away various deeds to properties and homes into the iron chest for safekeeping until he found a way to have the vampire issue dealt with.

Ah getting a nice place to sleep while planning to back stab the man, such fun, though through it all her expression stayed the same. "That sounds ideal, I shall also repair my tools for the trip". Even with things going so well Ipatiy would take any chances, their was always the possibility to stumble across witnesses or passing mercenaries that may want to join in for their own benefit, and she couldn't have that happening. "Call me if you require my services while I am here as well"

Night fell and Conrad stood outside the manor. He awaited the opening of the door, either to be let in or to be informed of her success.

The merchant slept semi-soundly in his bed, worried about the vampire, but unsure of whether he'd be able to reach him at all.

As the night went on Ipatiy awoke from her slumber, silently making her way over to her rooms window and opening it slightly. Peaking out and waving a small red cloth from the side as a signal. Perhaps they'd be lucky enough to get rid of this merchant without even having to leave town and anyone that heard of his demise on the list may panic and turn tail. Unorganized prey was always the funnest to catch.

Instantly he was there. And he slipped in with practiced ease. He nodded to her in silent thanks.

"Where is he?" He whispered.

(Sorry for the wait.)

"Just down the hallways the door on the left, shall I point it out to your or close up here and pretend to be asleep"? That or make her escape, besides the street people non of the servants had actually seen her enter, she could leave not and no one would be able to connect her to this murder.

Conrad

“It’s best if you leave, quietly. We can’t risk you being seen by anyone and you being connected to the murder. So go, out the window or some other way.” He told her. “Well done.”

So he left the room, and entered the room of his enemy. It was locked, but that was no issue. The door was broken, and the man’s life ended, after some enhanced interrogation. And he left the building.

"As you say, shall we meet where we did last time"? *She asked, taking a rope from out underneath her dress, hooking it to the window before moving to jump out and vanish into the night. Her preferred tactic? Walking into some bar or Inn and blend in with the crowd. late at night only drunks would be present, non would remember her face and the owner probably wouldn't care to notice another servant moving around.

Conrad

"As you say, shall we meet where we did last time"?

“Yes, I’ll meet you in the alleyway where we spoke before. I’ll give you our next target after that. Be aware not all of them are in this city, so we will need to go elsewhere before our task is done.”

(Sorry for the delay, things are getting crazy.)
