Winter had finally arrived and tables and chairs had been set up inside a large white tent. The Knights had a serious problem on their hands: Syr Cymbeline had tried out a new spell and unfortunately brought a gingerbread cookie to sentient life. It said its name was Ginger, Ginger Breadington, and if it were to be alive (it had never asked to be alive! Or eaten, so don’t get any ideas!) then it deserved a home. Ginger hated the design forced upon its being by Syr Cymbeline, that fool! How dare she give them a misshapen scarf, mismatched gumdrop buttons, and a ugly pair of icing boots that had clearly been smeared.
All who could were called to help: to build a home for Ginger Breadington that they could live in until the magic wore off or they died from old age and mold. The judge would be Ginger themselves, and the winner would receive their praise— and maybe a little something else.
Sivan was there because he had to be, not because he wanted to. He looked at the tables that had all the supplies they would need: candy and icing and gingerbread cut in so many ways. Everyone could take what they needed, or more, but at the end of one hour, all the houses would be judged whether they were ready or not.

Rules of the Competition:
- Characters can build a gingerbread house by themselves or with a partner.
- There will be four rounds:
- First Round: having all walls stand up, +1 point
- Second Round: putting the roof on, +1 point
- Third Round: decorating, no smeared icing, candy looks good, +1 point
- Fourth Round: if the house remains standing when being carried to the judging table, +1 point
- Winner will be chosen by highest point score; if there is a tie, a coin will be flipped.
- For single-competitors: roll 1d20, for for team-competitors: one person will be chosen to roll 1d20. The goal is to get a higher number than what the DM rolled for that round.
- Each character can have any buffs/debuffs that fits their personality. There is no set limit currently on how many you can have. Please list the buff/debuff chosen in your first post.
BUFFS | DEBUFFS |
Crafty: +1, or just good with their hands. | Clumsy: -1, whoopsies, fingers slipped! Again. |
Steady Hands: +1, so good with their hands they should be a surgeon, not a knight! | Warm Hands: -1, impervious to the cold but the icing keeps melting! |
Keen Eye: +1, sometimes it’s all in the details! | Impatient: -1, why wait when you can keep building? |
TEAM BUFFS | TEAM DEBUFFS |
Team Player: +1, there’s no ‘i’ in team! | “NO, I HAVE A VISION!”: -2, unless you’re Seluria, no, you don’t. |
