As some of you guys know, there are a lot of dreadkids running around! I saw some charts float around of relationships between different generations of dreadkids and thought it would be fun to do something similar on general connections rather than specific events. So I made a little crawler, found all the posts of dreadkid threads (Defined as any thread with two dreadkids that have posts in 2025), and made a gif of the growth of 'connectivity' between characters, starting in April 2024!
Some other interesting notes to observe, in no particular order
But Kael how did you do it? How did you define things? To be honest, arbitrarily, but basically whenever a user makes a post on a thread, I search the thread for other people that post, and increase "connections" at the moment of the post with those people. It's normalized to the number of folks that posts, so posting in a public thread after 7 people will give you 1/7 points with that person, where a private thread gives 1 point per post (after the very first). That's as high level I can get without getting super nerdy about it, but I'm happy to go that way if people are interested.

It's also fun to look at a view of posts between dreadkids per month, which total to over 900 posts!Some other interesting notes to observe, in no particular order
- Vittoria Larrainth - Kilien Basmarc have the most thread-experience together by far
- Vittoria Larrainth is the most well 'connected' character across the board by far
- Dreadkid participation exploded November and December, with over half the current branch of Dreadkids joining in that time
