Lotahkaal is an Ēarendel dragon, a rare breed teetering on extinction. The breed is notable for its endurance and resilience, able to fly even in the harshest of conditions. Lotahkaal is no different, although she is still young. Her iridescent scales, another telltale characteristic of the breed, are incredibly hard and resistant to damage and temperature extremes. She is currently 36 feet long.

Narahvi was a slave for as long as she could remember. She tended to violent and volatile dragons since she was young, as she was considered expendable. With her life dependent on learning how to work with temperamental dragons, she quickly developed her talent for dragon handling. Despite this, she had little hope of escaping her shackles, so she resorted to committing a crime most heinous: stealing one of the dragon eggs that she tended to. Knowing it was on the verge of hatching, she stole away into the night.

It was through sheer dumb luck that she escaped her foolish endeavor with her life. A wyvern she also cared for allowed her to ride it out of Thanasis, and she drove the creature westward. Narahvi sought safety in numbers by joining nomads who also roamed the continent astride mighty beasts. It was the only way to survive the wilds of Malakath until her newly hatched dragon grew big enough to ride.
