Elysia
The Serpent's Grace
Appearance
Elysia has tanned skin, kissed by the unrelenting sun of Amol-Kalit. Her hair is jet black and straight, often adorned with golden trinkets, some shaped like serpents. Piercing jade-green eyes shimmer with curiosity mixed with a menacing intelligence that makes her lingering gaze feel alluring, yet unsettling. Her body is draped in fine silks, dyed in shades of muted green, brown, and gold. A serpent-shaped pendant, carved jade wrapped in gold, is always around her neck.
Hidden from sight is a tattoo on her left forearm- a snake that curls up her arm with its head nearest to her wrist and a mouth open to reveal its fangs. The ink seemingly shifts, appearing almost alive.

Skills and Abilities
- Elysia is an expert in the family business- Venomcrafting. Herbal remedies, potions, poisons for a price. Antidotes? That's a little more costly. Of course, her parents taught her the basics of combat. Stick to the shadows, stab with the pointy end of the dagger, and always coat the blade in poison.
- The serpent's bond. Believed to be a mystical gift from a goddess was actually the result of a curse passed down from generation to generation. Elysia has a supernatural bond with snakes, an ability to communicate with them and summon her companion Lissandra (Hissandra) at will. The curse does not end there. Elysia, like her mother and her mother's mother, is venomous, and she is not afraid to use her bite to her advantage. Her toxic touch may be used to also imbue objects, weapons, or her own flesh with venom to paralyze or slowly kill her prey. Perhaps it is best to avoid the girl with the baleful gaze.
Personality
Sharp-tongued and self-reliant. Elysia keeps her emotions tightly guarded, understanding the need to work within the system to navigate the tangled politics.
