'White swallow of Narra'
Appearance
The White Swallow is nearly always adorned in armour or shawls, thus, his face is unknown to most.
For how much you can see, his eyes are beautiful, reflective, full of life and adorned with thin, sharp eyebrows.
While almost none have seen The White Swallow as he truly is, even fewer have called him by his birth name, giving him a rather enigmatic presence.
He flies a black banner with two white swallow birds in flight. Single swallows are marked on the painted shields of his troops.
It's unclear if he was called by the marks upon his banner, or his banner was designed by his calling.
The Origin of the White Swallow
Most predominantly, the swallow is a migratory bird, but in some arid climates, it stays year-round, most notably in the region we may call northern Amol-Kalit. It's a bird symbol of loyalty, souls and god/s. There are some traditions of only good people having swallow nests neath their house rooftops and only bad people destroying them.
White is the colour of humility, innocence, protection, perfection, mental clarity as well as faith.
While the combination may seem pure or regal, in the context of animals, a white animal may more accurately take on the meaning of ostracization.
Skills and Abilities
Like the rest of his men, he trains daily, not only in swordsmanship and horsemanship but also mounted archery and climbing. However, one would not consider him an exceptional archer, with most of his skill in combat faced in close-quarter battles.
As a commander of a troop, he earned this position through his creative tactics and performance in various skirmishes. The most famous of his advances was during the siege of Maraan, where he ended the siege on the city without a single shed of blood.
While he would have become a Sahiyi mystic if he hadn't taken for the path of the sword. He feels tied to his duty and loyalty to the Sayyiduna.
With the White Swallow, one might often find Mayyadah, a šadādu type Sereti horse. She is loyal only to him, a trait often found in bonded Sereti horses. The sand elves have called the mare Hariq.
Personality
The white swallow as a well-spoken man, he does not utter harshly, even to a foe. He is sometimes solemn but generally respectful, even at his lowest point.
