Ralian Thorpe
A wandering bard and veteran of the Imperial Army, Ralian seeks to convince unwitting men and woman with too much time on their hands to join the fight. No longer in the army himself, Ralian is now a rambling recruiter who takes on commission. He has been known to utilize his talents of story telling and music as a part of his trade, and is more than willing to make a coin on the side however he can.
Appearance
Ralian has thinning blonde hair that runs back to the back of his head. A bald spot rests firmly at the back of his crown. He is considerably clean, and tends to wear a commonfolk garb.
Skills and Abilities
Ralian is somewhat gifted with a hurdygurdy, a droning hypnotical instrument that he utilizes to grant an ambience to places he lands. He has a natural gift for oratory and a joke, but is far from being a grand speaker or a court comedian. He is tactically trained in the art of a siege, and the training of a soldier with a sword and spear. He possesses no magical talent, and has no aspiration to learn its uses.
Personality
Ralian loves conversation and interesting experiences. He seems world weary and beaten down by some of his experiences, which he is very happy to share with others. He habitually tells a brighter side and grants a lesson of those difficult times he has had. He recognizes that most of his misfortune is a result of his own choices, and opts to save others from similar fates. He is prone to drinking, and he is known for rambling on in a story, which has granted him a title of "the rambler".
