Nosdyn
Nosdyn spends most of his life mining ore. He says very little and lets his actions speak for him. His life was a constant battle of survival under the whip and other brutal torture devices of slavers, but he endured. He has an extremely strong will. At the start of our young Hero's journey, Nosdyn is roughly 30 something and has only known the life of a slave his entire life.
Appearance
Standing at a semi reasonable height for an Orc, Nosdyn is extremely muscular, it is not lean muscle at all. He is built extremely strong from a life of physical labor mining the mines. He has a broad chest and shoulders, and the tell tale tribal markings of his tribe. Some mistake them as tattoos and symbols, but they are actually birth marks. Nosdyn has no hair and is completely bald. He says very little preferring to let his actions speak for him.
Since his transformation to a Vampire Nosdyn has a few additions to his appearance. Notably: he wears a ceremonial red blind fold (Think: Demon Hunters from World of Warcraft) with several marks on it of The House of Skotadi.
Nosdyn is physically blind but his other senses are heightened to make up for this.
He also wields battle gauntlets in battle, prototype weapons made by the Mastersmith Asel.

Skills and Abilities
Nosdyn has mined ore his entire life. He is exceedingly good at mining the various known minerals of the world. These are ores like Copper, Iron, and Silver. At the start of our story, Nosdyn mines copper mainly since his masters do not trust him to make weapons of war to wield against them. Probably right so. His main skill is mining. He can mine ore at a exceedingly effective rate at this point and knows how to spot ore veins and the like. He is getting close to where he can physically SMELL natural copper veins in the earth.
Aside from mining skills, Nosdyn has the physical combat prowess of his people. He can kill with his hands, but the life of servitude has made him an obedient slave. He will only strike when told to strike against the enemies of the masters not when he has perceived a false code of right and wrong. The master's word was law to Nosdyn. He can fight as needed and if necessary...to kill as needed.
~Vampirism. Sooner or later the Thirst always wins.
Nosdyn is a Lord Vampire having obtained that through many long and hard fought battles. Nosdyn retains many of the traditional Vampire powers, and all of their weaknesses inherited. Nos is weak to Sunlight: which he tries to avoid at all costs, many types of Fire Magic and natural fire itself and he has one more deep weakness. He only can move fast when he shadow steps.
As part of his Vampire powers; Once a day Nosdyn may turn a concubine servant into another Vampire ally thus expanding House Skotadi.
Further: Nos retains The Thirst and must periodically feed. HOW he gets the blood does not matter, but Humanoids are typically preferred. Note: Humans are not necessarily killed and some retain their lives as indentured blood banks.
The most notable change is Skotadi who will be developed much more later on. Skotadi is the patron Blood God of House of Skotadi and exists as a super rare genetic marker. In it's current state only Nosdyn has the true form of Skotadi within his genetic pool making him on e of the strongest living Vampires.
Note: Nos is still very much killable it is just a very difficult task to pull off.
Nos can regenerate from most injuries but not his eyes: his sight is forever gone and he sees heat as a counter balance point.

Personality
A quiet and constantly pensive individual. He says very little, but in his eyes lurks the makings of a fierce battle field warrior. His eyes tell the story, he is extremely intelligent but the intellect is the intellect of someone who is well versed on the field of battle. It is not book worm intellect at all. His knowledge is of the fist, and the slavers whips. Nosdyn has been desperate and learned to survive the treacherous life of the mines since he was forced and sold into slavery. He longs for more than a simple slave's life of service.
