Wargheits are gargantuan, vampiric beasts created by the insidious Mulder vampires. A vampire of between 50-150 years (not a fledgling, but not necessarily an ancient) is used as the base. The subject is twisted and mutated over the course of two to three weeks by methods known to the Mulder clan. The result is an unquestionably monstrous creature that has lost all sense of its former self, driven by its incredible thirst for blood--though capable of following the commands of specialized Mulder handlers.
Wargheits, due to their massive size, burn gallons of blood with every movement. This being especially so once engaged in the rigors of combat, and often the blood of their slain foes isn't enough to stave off an eventual slowing down and weakening of the beast. Attrition, therefore, is one viable strategy against them.
Appearance
Massive in size. Large, muscular arms with bat-like protowings jutting from the outer edges of them. Large claws. Squat legs in comparison to their longer and more powerful arms; Wargheits are incapable of walking on just their two legs, and thus knuckle-walk with their arms as gorillas do. Their huge fangs are exposed, and give them the appearance of always grinning.
Habitat
No natural habitat. Wargheits are essentially powerful but short-lived weapons used by the Mulder vampires.
Traits
Unnatural Beast: All Wargheits feature great strength, an extremely dulled sense of pain, and utterly lack fear. All Wargheits as well burn through blood far faster than normal-sized, non-mutated vampires.
Inheritance: Wargheits inherit one prominent strength and one prominent weakness of the vampiric strain from which they were created.
Feeding: Wargheit's have mouths large enough to enclose over a man whole. However, they do not eat and swallow their victims. Two types of tendrils line the inside of their mouths: proboscis tendrils, and tongue tendrils. Proboscis tendrils seek out the warmth of the body and burrow, needle-like, into flesh and rapidly suck out blood. Tongue tendrils eagerly lap up blood spilled from the victim by the Wargheit's fangs. Between the two types, the Wargheit is capable of draining a man-sized individual of their blood in mere seconds. After this is done, they will spit out the dried husk of a corpse and seek out more victims from whom to feed.
