A man of multiple lives, Vulpesen lives within two worlds, serving the Vitae Alliance as a Tenevi Agent in the mortal world where he's tasked with delicate matters such as searching for magical artifacts and removing corrupt politicians, and serving the Vitae Court as Varos' warlock wherein he completes any task his fae master might have for him.


Appearance

Largely distinguished by his Zorren anatomy, Vulpesen's figure is slimmer than most humanoids of his weight, needing to rely far more on speed and cunning than brute strength. His clawed nails, bushy black tail, golden eyes, and pointed mobile ears are all hallmarks of his race. Hidden beneath his dark clothing, Vulpesen wears a tapestry of scars which trace along his body, a reminder of his life before and the trials he's faced to reach this point.

His clothing his almost always Tenevi Black, the agent preferring to wear lightweight leathers and dark cloaks where he might hide his multitude of daggers and tools for his job.

Strengths:
Quick Thinker:
Vulpesen's wit was what originally drew the attention of his lord. Capable of thinking on his feet, more than a few of his plans have involved the phrase, "Then I'll wing it."
Warlock: Having a magical lord of the fae take an interest in you comes with benefits. A longer lifespan and the power to control shadows are just the starter perks. After years of serving his Master, Vulpesen has become adept in the field of nature magic. While this has weakened his ability to manipulate the shadows, he has gained a far more versatile skillset.
Agile Fighter: More than being a quick thinker, Vulpesen while not intimidating in size, is certainly a handful on the field of battle, nimbly fucking and dodging around larger opponents
Zorren Anatomy: Like all Zorrens, Vulpesen is blessed with an above average sense of smell and hearing, as well as a set of claws to use in case his non-natural weapons find themselves out of reach.

Weaknesses:
Guardian to the end:
Vulpesen's pact is one of sacrifice for others. He feels the call to serve and will almost certainly leap to the defense of others, even if they are complete strangers. Furthermore, his instinct to protect as a Zorren can easily put him in dangerous situations for another's sake.
Fae promises: Vulpesen gained much power from his lord, but there was a price. The more fae magic he uses, the closer he is to them. As such, a promise can never be broken by him.
Strength: Yeah... he's got amazing cardio, but don't expect him to be swinging around a maul any time soon.
Smell and Sound: Above average senses can be used agianst him. Loud noises and strong smells, when unexpected, can lead to an unpleasant experience for Vulpesen

Personality

Gregarious and friendly, Vulpesen's patron wouldn't be easily guessed as most would expect a quiet and reserved nature from someone in service to the shadows. Slow to anger, Vulpesen is largely forgiving and looks for the best in others. That being said, those who do earn his ire will find a clever trickster who never fails to run out of plots to ruin the lives of those he sees as deserving.

When alone, Vulpesen's gregarious attitude can find itself drowned in a bottle. Putting it simply, the man has a few issues to work with. With the death of his company, Vulpesen while still skilled enough to qualify for the position of Tenevi Agent, spends a fair amount of his off time in taverns and bars.

Biography & Lore

Once the heir to house Torrevaso of the Fae made city of Veradune, Vulpesen set off to become a scout within the Armis Militia, the military branch of the alliance which led his homeland. Porving himself skillfull enough to be considered for a transfer to the illustrious Tenevi order. Before this promotion in status however, Vulpesen's unit was destroyed due to an act of treason at the battle of Almerand, a small city on the plains of the Allir Reach. Alone and shattered, Vulpesen left his post and took to the world as a wanderer to find himself.

In these wanderings, Vulpesen would find his prayers for a purpose answered by one of the three gods of his people. Varos, lord of shadows and a leader of the fae courts had chosen Vulpesen as his warlock, a champion to further the ideals of the Vitae court. Such ideals were nearly identical to the Alliance that had been spawned from it. His only request in return for his service, the power of the wilds that had preserved him in his travels that he might take vengeance on the traitor who had caused a force of five hundred men to be reduced to five.

While originally forbidden from returning home by his initial contract, Vulpesen has since been allowed to retake his place in the Vitae Alliance. Rather than join the militial branch of the Armis Militia, Vulpesen opted to test into the Tenevi Order. Passing with ease, he joined the shadowy branch of the alliance tasked with its more delicate problems. Now, in conjunction with his service as a warlock Vulpesen acts as a diplomatic bodyguard, seeker of magical secrets, seeker of artifacts, and "knife" for when an enemy government requires something more delicate than the hammer of the militia.
