Vanieron Nolafieran
High Prince of Arvalion
Appearance
Vanieron is both tall and broad for both men and Elves, with black hair to the shoulder in waves and eyes as gray as the storm-whipped sea that shine with an inner light and a keen gaze. He dresses in high quality, but rugged clothes, embossed simply with the heraldry of his house. His skin is dark and his face strong.

The Sea-Blood: The lineage of the High Princes date back to the shrouds of time, but the tales of the sea-elves speaks that their kings were descended from the Sea-King, a god of the sea remote and capable of both great wrath and great generosity. As the High Princes come from the line of the Sea-Elf Kings, this blood runs through them as well, manifesting in unique abilities that help enshrine them as royalty of both land and sea.
-Seawater: He can drink seawater and find it only brackish, and incredibly salty to taste, but it does no harm.
-Rooted in the Waves: Those of the royal lineage always know what direction they are from Arvalion, although it does not do distance.
-Feel the Tides: Those with the gifting can sense the tides and currents in the ocean in their vicinity, including direction and speed. Must be fully submerged.
-Shape the Waves: By letting drops of their own blood fall into the sea, one from the Sea-King’s line can actually shape and redirect the currents of water around them. The more blood, the wider the effect, and it lasts only as long as the blood remains concentrated in the water directly around the individual, as they must be in skin contact with the water.
-Cleanse the Undead: The Sea-blood burns any undead it comes into contact with, like any sort of powerful cleansing magic.

Personality
Noble, honorable, sometimes even considered aloof, Vanieron often seems detached from the people and places around him. This is not intentional or accurate, as he is deeply aware of everything happening around him, and often seeks to process and analyze it before acting. Ingrained from childhood with courtesy, chivalry, and honor, he also strives to weigh how his actions and words can best show honor to those with whom he speaks.
