Brackish
For Brackish, death is the only beginning he remembers. Life a fleeting dream, undeath is his birth and his death all at once. Was he a noble knight? A brutal killer? Or perhaps a simple adventurer? Brackish does not know, but his rusted armor and salt crusted bones suggest a death long ago - whoever he was is less important than whatever he will become.
Appearance
Brackish is a six foot tall tan human male skeleton, his skull having a somewhat prominent overbite and missing a few poorly aligned teeth. His body is covered by a rusted suit of full plate armor of an antiquated design, with rusted away holes showing the salt and water worn fabric under padding. The armor has a tattered waist coat of a greenish color which is mostly shredded. He has no obvious scabbard attached to him but is holding a rusted, chipped and broken arming sword of vintage design.
His movements are stiff, and as if he hasn't moved for a very long time and the magic propelling him is struggling to work through the stiffness of age. While his bones look as if they would be old and brittle the magic which returned him to consciousness reinforces them, making him about as durable as a living man.
Whoever Brackish was, his equipment was likely once very expensive but is now little more than rusted remnants due for replacement.

Skills and Abilities
Swordsman - While Brackish does not remember who he is, the skills he fostered in life remain burned into his consciousness - and his sword skill is the most prominent of these etchings of the past. His style is trained and practiced, lacking flourish or style and focusing entirely on quick, effective blows. Whomever Brackish was, his life was spent in battle and it shows in his sword hand.
Undeath - A sentient, moving skeleton propelled by some fell magic Brackish is at his core a magical construct, a walking abomination which functions unlike any biological sense would suggest. He inexplicably posses the full strength of a man of great athletic shape of his size, he can move swiftly and even possess conventional 'vision' despite having no eyes. Like most undead he is weak to light/holy magic, and cannot remain conscious under the effects of Anti-Magic. Unusually, Anti-Magic, does not outright kill Brackish, instead simply rendering him 'unconscious until the effect is removed or he is removed from its presence. Furthermore, while Brackish does not know his creator if he ever encountered them, he would be forced to obey them, irrelevant of his own will.

Personality
Brackish has few memories, having only a vague sense of whoever he once was - these subtle reminders of a life once lived paint his current personality. He feels a great need to seek a cause, feels compelled to battle and has a complicated revulsion to his own existence. Why he hates undead, he does not know, what cause he seeks is a mystery and this leaves only a burning passion for battle - and so he clings to it. Brackish is mostly blank, and so whatever he experiences in this 'life' is likely to guide his personality far more than some long forgotten life before his undeadth.
Biography & Lore
When Brackish 'awoke' all he saw was thick vegetation and the yellow green water of the swamp - as he struggled to free himself from the plants which had grown through his corpse Brackish burst from under the shallow watery grave he had called home for untold years. A living skeleton, a horrific abomination made to move through heinous magic Brackish has no memories from before this moment.
