Count Theodore Agnosis
Appearance
Theodore is a knight, and that is exemplified in his every appearance.
He wears his hair slightly long but not enough to get in the way, he has a full but well groomed beard slightly darker than his hair.
He is a tall man with a proud brow, his muscles stand out as exceptionally athletic, well used to constant training, labor and use of a sword and shield.
Off duty he dresses either in fine casual clothes or his casual military uniform. He's not one to give in to frivolity and keeps things practical unless he's required to wear his formal uniform for equally formal occasions.
In combat he wears Dracontine Glass plate armor and a blue cloak and hood, a complete set with gauntlets, helm, pauldrons, greaves and spurs for when he fights mounted.

Biography
Theodore Agnosis was born to the ancient Agnosis family, a lineage that could trace itself all the way back to one of the first settlers of Mardus alongside the very first King Kyxo.
Theodore grew up with a rod against his back, training from a young age to become a knight as his father was before him.
Theodore hated his father for the harsh treatment he faced, but he did want to become a knight... He simply wanted to become a better knight than his father was.
He left his family when he turned seven and came of age to become a page. He paged himself to a knight he believed exemplified what it truly meant to be a knight and chose to model himself after him.
By the time he was a squire tragedy struck the kingdom.
Two members of the royal family, the queen and the crown prince were assassinated alongside the crown prince of Mardania's closest allied country. Leaving only the King Kyxo and the princess, Helia Glacies Kyxo, as the only survivors.
He followed his mentor into the war that proceeded as a result, going in as a mere squire, he returned as a fully ordained knight and a man.
He attended the School of Oaths upon his return and soon, through his exploits and service as a knight, he earned the title of Count and was given rulership over his own land and property, and he was permitted to join the Elite military unit answerable directly to the ruler of Mardania...
The fabled, "Knight Paladins of Mardus".
The Paladins are an exclusive unit comprised of the most elite among both the military and nobility. While his situation was not unprecedented, he was among an exceptional minority that were born commoners, where a majority of the knights were nobles that had proven themselves in battle.
Theodore was starting out with a disadvantage, but it would not remain so for long. Even as the kingdom was entering a time of peace there were still plenty of duties that the Knights were called upon to perform. Eventually, through his service to king and country for many years as a Knight Paladin, he achieved the prestigious rank of Knight Commander over all the knights, answerable only to the ruler of Mardania.
With the failing health of the king, Theodore has often found himself following the orders of the king's only surviving heir, the young Princess Helia Glacies Kyxo. As his duty requires of him, he serves the princess without question but even he is unsure of what will become of Mardania should the Ice Princess finally take the throne.
