The Delta's Core
Located in the center of the Iuk-'u Delta, the core regions are a region of dense, unmitigated vegetation. Conversely, it is seemingly devoid of all animal life, let alone human. Indeed, anything capable of even the most basic level of though is likely to stay well away from this place, in large part due to the phantom images and sounds it induces in its visitors. Travelers to the Core have reported seeing and hearing events and scenarios that felt almost like their own memories, despite such things having never happened in their lives. Unlike typical hallucinations, these illusions are entirely original, never connecting with trauma or thoughts of their victims. It is as though they are seeing the events of another's life.
