Tharu San'Seya
Tharu San'Seya is a Duanann serving the Spring Court, acting as Prince and as an ambassador between Spring and the numerous other courts. The only surviving son of Nairth San'Seya, the King of Spring, Tharu is very similar to his father in both personality and ideals. He believes strongly in the tenents of Life and Freedom that his court upholds, and despite his troubled history with his father is fiercely loyal to him.
Having been sheltered and hidden away by Nairth for most of his life, Tharu has only recently been given the freedom to live as he pleases, as Nairth attempts to atone for his past sins against his own blood. Originally volunteering to serve under his Father as his Chamberlain, The Prince's already established relationship with the Vitae Court made him a much more suitable candidate for the position of ambassador; the fresh-faced young Duanann had no enemies to speak of, and was much more humble and personable than his King.
Appearance
As is typical of the San' Seya bloodline, Tharu very strongly resembles his father, Nairth. He shares the long silvery hair that runs down the expanse of his back, as well as the striking golden-colored eyes. His body is not quite as muscular, however, and he has grown into a much slimmer and slender young Duanann. Tharu's face is also less broad and angular than his strongly-jawed parent, enough to distinguish him from the elder San'Seya.
Tharu dresses quite modestly for a Duanann, let alone a Prince. Often he will choose to wear plain colored robes that show very little skin, or outfits more suitable for servants and lesser fae, though for what purpose is disputed. Tharu sometimes claims it is merely a matter of comfort over extravagance, but it appears to be a very conscious choice to avoid looking too striking.

Duanann Affinity
Tharu is closely aligned with the forest and the life that it holds. However, this affinity manifests itself quite differently in the younger Duanann. Whereas his Father's power comes from the thriving of life under the heat of the sun, Tharu's affinity is with the shadows, the darkest nights when not even the moon can reach all corners. Tharu has the ability to manipulate darkness and shadows in whatever way he sees fit, and he can also shape any light that is reflected off of the moon as he wishes.
Celestial Alignment
Tharu is aligned with Lunar energy. His powers are almost always used exclusively in the absence of the sun, and his ability to twist shadows cast by the sun is limited, though still quite possible. In his youth, he has yet to fully master these abilities to their zenith, so the extent of this limitation is unknown.
Elemental Alignment
Tharu is aligned with Darkness and Fire, and is less affected by any such magic or threats of such a nature. This also affords him some control over natural flame, meaning fire that is not created through spells or another Fae's power.
Personality
Tharu is a very polite, soft-spoken Duanann with a tendency to use unnecessary honorifics even to those technically beneath him in importance. As Ambassador, it is his duty to leave a good impression on any he meets, and this flattering speak often assists with such a need. Having been sheltered for much of his life, Tharu does exhibit a degree of naivety and obliviousness to the world around him, oftentimes unable to use context to put things together on his own. Nevertheless, he is wise beyond his years and inherited much of the San'Seya passion for life and knowledge.
