Syvis was born in a medium sized town called Tollen in the peninsula of Eaglehead.

From a young age the girl was able to manipulate elements around her in an almost natural way. She could make water pour upwards, rocks shift with a gesture, and fires flicker from just a single spark. Her parents, recognizing her talents saved a years wages and sent her off to Elbion.

Ever since she arrived, Syvis has proven herself to be an exceptional mage and student. Over the years she had been diligent in her studies and keen on learning nearly everything she possibly could. She excelled in many areas, though ultimately became an expert in simple College Magic.

Though many would presume Syvis to be a book learning academic, she also took many opportunities throughout her education to learn more combat focused skills.

After her graduation, Syvis chose to stay with the College itself.

There she became a Professor, though launched herself almost immediately into her private studies. Her focus has remained a mystery among the College for some years, and she is often away on long expeditions.

More recently however Syvis has been urged by the Maesters of Elbion to stay put and actually teach some of the younger Generations. Much to her disgruntlement.
