Sylmara Felwin
Sylmara was born the third and last child of the King and Queen of Saen.
Her birth marked the passing of her mother, a great loss by all accounts and something that Sylmara has always felt amount of internal guilt for. Due to her mothers passing the young woman was mostly raised by handmaidens and her father.
This cemented the girls worldview fairly on, and her temperament did not receive any of the softening that her mother had ensured her two Elder Brothers had received. Sylmara believes in the superiority of the Elven people, the idea that their long life-span and the collective knowledge they hold sets them above most other species.
Though Sylmara is not outright xenophobic, nor does she despise other species, she deals with outsiders with a certain haughtiness.
Praised for her sorceress abilities and her connection to the Falwood itself, Sylmara exhibited the gifts of what is known as a 'seer' among the people of Saen from a young age. This gift grants Sylmara the ability to 'see' the tides of the Falwood. She holds a connection with nature, and through it is able to call upon the forest and all that dwells within it.
The birds become her eyes, the foxes her ears, the very trees her fingers.
This connection however runs both ways, and when the Falwood is harmed, so too is Sylmara. If while connected to the wood the Forest is damaged, then she suffers that same pain. If she is not careful this can easily kill her.
Sylmara's bond with the Falwood is powerful, and many of those around her have theorized that her link is also where most of her magics are drawn from. Thanks to the knowledge left behind by her mother the young Princess is well versed in the Arcana of her people, drawing from a considerable strength that wells within her.
Though still relatively young by the standards of her people, Sylmara has grown up fast and proven to be a capable Sorceress, emissary, and negotiator when it is necessary.
