Sipahi
The Sipahi are considered and elite division of the Imperial Host under the Grand Vizier Ashuanar's direct command. They are comprised exclusively of Abtati, mainly the warrior-assassins of Ashuanar's own Tribe of Mari-Kuul. Adept in various forms of combat and subterfuge, they engage in anything from traditional warfare to covert operations. In the public eye they rarely show their face, having it always hidden beneath their white headcloths, matching the white garb they all unanimously adorn, though some augment their dress with exterior armour although all of them are already fitted with lighter mail beneath their outerwear.
Hierarchy
The Sipahi exist almost entirely outside of the normal hierarchy of the Imperial Host. Their rank is simply Sipahi, and they are overseen - besides Ashuanar - by only their captain who is regarded as Sipa. It is within this hierarchy do they take their orders and is only ever diverged from if explicitly stated by either the Vizier of War, or the reigning emperor themself.
However, the Sipahi have also their own internal hierarchy and set of designations that is adhered to in a more informal manner. There are some Sipahi who, though part of the larger group, operate individually or in smaller groups. Laru'Dahl is one such individual. Some of these appointments, such as Laru'Dahl's are decided, while others are chosen amongst themselves, or even by themselves.

Rules
Sipahi are given leave to operate with a liberal amount of autonomy and are commanded to remain within the bounds of Imperial Law only when dealing with internal imperial matters.
Intent
The intent of appointed Sipahi is simply to carry out the orders of the Vizier of War. They are to act as an extension of his will. They often serve as his escort, but this is only what is predominant public eye.
