House Drurcius is a Cadet branch of House Sirl.

One of the youngest minor houses in the kingdom, its founders still hold a strong tie to their forefathers in House Sirl, and make it a point to hold their strength first and foremost as a point of pride. Founded three generations ago, House Drurcius has not thus far changed too much from the 'Enforcer' nature of its parent House, however where it has branched out is in its specialty in producing bodyguards.

This has resulted in their being able to partner with and secure wealth in ways that allow them to mutually benefit alongside other Houses, particularly with guarding other nobles as well as trade caravans and ships. Their ruthless nature is taken to an extreme, particularly as this House is still young and craving a rise in power. Thus, they pride themselves in swift, and lethally effective measures to end combat almost as soon as it starts.

"As jealous as a Dragon with its Hoard" is the motto of the House, and they apply this in various ways.

House Drurcius holds a strong Heirarchy based upon one's own prowess both mentally, physically, and magically. As such, it comes as little surprise that this young House was founded by and mostly composes of Dreadlords or members of the Guard. Alongside this, there is a strong drive for the House to continue to produce Dreadlords, and even moreso to produce Dreadlords of note within Vel Anir.

House Drurcius, being a new household, was founded by a descendant of House Sirl. While not a particularly powerful Dreadlord, the House made a name for itself early on in their competency in protecting others. This was not founded necessarily out of a noble mortality for heroism, however. Instead, it was to secure their place. If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself is the mentality many in this House are prone to having.

As such, the descendants of this House have thus far been trained and raised within the Academy. However, while it began with a strong foothold, the magic within its bloodline has seemingly quickly petered out as it reached its most recent generation. In particular, the magic that this House is most noted for is its capability to interact with various energies and absorb and manipulate them. This ranged from Dreadlords capable of destructive lightning shields, to crystallizing opponents that so much as touched them. However, the most recent Head of Household, Andreos, was seen as a dissapointment due to his much more limited capabilities in being able to absorb and store magic. While useful in some aspects, it did not have more combative applications. As such, at the moment, House Drurcius is seen as weak when compared to other Noble Bloodlines, if notably competent in their work.
