"You want to know about me? My brother is far more interesting. I simply slaughter and kill those assigned to us, nothing more and nothing less. My brother is the truly special one, able to see through time and always keep such a level head, even in the most trying times. My blades may cut many things, slice down those in our way, but believe me when I tell you that his words and visions are far sharper than any blade when he chooses to speak. Callim is.... special, in ways I don't have words for, at least no words that are my own. But ever since we hatched there have been whispers, murmured in my mind, they speak of him. They speak about things no one could possibly know, about him, about us, and sometimes Callim repeats them so clearly I get a sense of Deja-Vu....."

Born a twin to his brother Callim, Cassian is nonetheless more fit of the two. His body far from the fragile quality of Callim's own and, indeed, the most appropriate description for Cassian's own build would be 'Lithe but durable' in every sense of the word. His form possessing a resilience and springy strength that almost belies his size and stature but is nothing entirely out of the ordinary for a human his size. Aside from his physical fitness Cassian bears the same slender, some would say elegant features as his brother. Though like his brother he is loathe to unmask in front of anyone, but unlike his brother, will do so under extenuating circumstances.

Cassian's personality is a rather unreliable thing. Cassian displays mood wings of a semi-predictable nature and, usually, this is triggered by the prospect of combat. Usually in social situations Cassian is similar to his brother, though he is much more confident and blunt, often handling negotiations for his brother and himself when discussing contracts. If anything, while coherent, while Callim is intelligent and logical, Cassian is analytical and cunning. Callim may think of clever ways to use his abilities outside of even his visions, but Cassian can think quickly on his feet and improvise even when surprised. A trait that, naturally, Callim does not possess when caught without time to rely on his visions.

Dagger Mastery

Having to find a way to fend for himself and his brother, but lacking the size or strength to use larger weapons reliably, Cassian settled for the use of long daggers. Honing his dexterity in their use not only for dueling, fighting in close quarters, and lastly, throwing them at admirable distances. Altogether his skill is that of an Expert, but a bit short of being an absolute Master of the style.


Natural Darkness Manipulation

Owing to his heritage Cassian possesses two magical abilities that aide in making him a very skilled, and deadly, assassin. The first of these abilities is the innate ability to manipulate, meld with, and graft Darkness to his form and weapons. The Darkness Cassian infuses with his natural magic becomes a cold, clammy but very durable substance owing to the fact that when not exposed to direct sources of light it will slowly regenerate itself. That is not to say that any source of light immediately banishes or destroys the Darkness Cassian manipulates, rather it burns it away at a rate that varies depending on the intensity of the light source in question.


Natural Cold Manipulation

The second innate ability that Cassian possesses to aid in his assassination skillset is the ability to manipulate and project sources of cold around him. This is different than something like Cryomancy in that it does not let Cassian manipulate water or ice directly, rather, it is expressly the ability to exude, cause, expand or shape the slowing of molecules to simulate the sensation of cold. Allowing him to snuff flames, numb someone's skin or freeze water without controlling it.

Freedom of Movement

While his strength and durability is just a bit beyond that of what one would expect a human of his build to be capable of Cassian's Dexterity and Agility are, by comparison, staggeringly exceptional. Having trained with his brother to rely on Callim's visions while blindfolded and weave between attacks, balance on a tight rope, and manipulate his daggers in various ways, Cassian possesses a surety of movement that is extremely rare for any human. Akin to that of a professional contortionist and acrobat at the top of their game.
