Raea Knight
Displaced and far from home, Raea makes due with her talents as a mage throughout the world of Arethil. Though she never stays in one town for too long, she gets by enough to defend herself, glean useful information, keep food in her belly and clothing on her back. Though she would be mistaken as Fae at first glance with her dark hair, milky skin and exotic features--it would become clear that despite the truth--she is deceptively more informed of the Fair Folk than one should be.
Appearance
The woman looked Fae at first glance--almond-shaped eyes, high cheek bones. Though she sported unnaturally long, inky black hair that was tastefully braided and pinned and beaded in gold. She was petite in stature who carried herself with a dancer's lithe--yet, there was something in the manner of her presence that held an air of authority. Personality
On the surface Raea appears stand-offish and introverted, but she is in fact a strong-willed woman guided by her emotions due to her nature as an Empath. When she loves, she loves deeply. When she fights, she fights intensely. She is often seen as a stern, motherly figure who when pushed is unabashed with speaking her mind--sometimes with her fists if necessary.
It's easy to see that despite the humble life she presently leads in Arethil, she is cunning and quiet rumors speak of her commanding presence in the face of opposition. To those who are treated as lesser, she is regarded as a counselor and friend. With trust being a precious commodity in a foreign land, she is slow to reveal the truth of her past and where she came from as well as her true nature as a compassionate, intuitive and caring young woman.
Fiercely loyal to those who have earned it, she has a mild sense of justice--quick to put herself before those who cannot stand for themselves, yet willing to cross lines for personal gain and do what must be done.
