Rûhn
Rûhn Telimectar’s name is a well-known across many cultures.
Born to scholarly parents, they were surprised to find their son showed such an aptitude for war. Despite not knowing much of the warrior world they were both understanding and supportive in his pursuits, giving him the love and guidance he needed to find his path on his own. Rûhn joined the Warrior Sector at the same time as Nevarth Ruinë and the pair became fast and devoted friends.
Before the Great Closing Rûhn fought in wars across Arethil on behalf of the Avariels, including several battles with their closest allies the Sky Elves and Aeraesarians. At the start of the violent and traumatic Dwarven wars, The Hammer fell in battle in a bloody ambush. Two names were put forward to take up the mantle, Rûhn and Nevarth.
Rûhn fought during the Dwarven wars as The Hammer and led several great victories.
Surprisingly, it was not beating his friend during the trials that tested his and Nevarth’s friendship, but Rûhn’s stance against The Great Closing. The pair did not speak for many years after the Avariels withdrew from the world. Ironically, it would be this that led to him discovering his mate; Aiwenórë. Their love is the subject of many songs still sung amongst the Avariels.
The birth of their daughter, Ostára, was a great shining joy.
Rûhn was away on a mission when the news reached him Aiwenórë had died leaving their daughter alone in the Sanctuary. Nevarth himself delivered the news despite their estrangement and granted him leave from The Thirteen in order to mourn and raise his child. The tragedy repaired the brotherly bond but there was something intrinsically broken within Rûhn from that day on. His only joy was his daughter, his little Shadow.

The Blessing of The Hammer
The Signet
As a member of The Thirteen, after completing the trails, Rûhn was given a brand that sits over his heart. It consists of a war hammer on which appears to be engraved a series of runes. He has never spoken of the meaning of those runes to anyone, but there is a sadness often to his eyes when he looks upon it.
The Hammer
The weapon itself is a golden hammer about the size of his forearm. At first glance it lacks the beauty and elegance of most other pieces owned by The Thirteen, but it more than makes up for in brutal strength. The Hammer gifts Rûhn with extra strength, speed and durability. His friends have often teased his skin feels as though it has been forged too.
