Nesipheia
Abandoned outside the walls of Maraan, Nesi is one of the few residents of Maraan who were adopted, raised, and has a close relationship with her adoptive parents, of whom own a small food and salesthings stall. Keen to help her family despite her percieved handicap, she is a quiet, shy Naga who seems to live in denial of her born heritage. That was, however, until she was found.
Appearance
Though with the torso and perceived upper body of a standard human, it is in fact a very reliable camouflage. Flexible, small scales of a tan color variation mark, mostly only visible in certain lighting. The long, dark 'hair' of the Naga is in fact very sensitive, a fine net of feelers that are especially sensitive to touch and heat. With a heavy, strong body and a dense, thick tail, her weight is deceptive of her speed and agility. Though her face seems a delicate woman's visage, none are prepared for the true appearance of her jaw, unhinging with a startling display of venomous fangs. Though typically dressed in light linen layers to adapt from the heat, she has of late been granted some lighter plate mail mimicking the pattern of her scales, dressed over with denser layers to form a difficult to penetrate armor.

Considering her raised parentage, she can control and manipulate the earth beneath her to her bidding. With many years of extensive training, she is adept.

Given the stealthy nature of serpentine beings, she is capable of slithering up surfaces rough enough, and slipping through holes that most would think impossible.

Scales, though not impervious to damage, are difficult to pierce by ordinary means.
-Dexterity
Of the many years she has spent travelling, Nesi has learned to be quick on her tail, and adept at making split-second decisions for her own survival.

Personality
Level-headed, practical, with an eye for vibrant clothing and shiny things, Nesi is the type of female that appreciates a well-dressed moment, without the foppishness of any elitist know-it-alls. Pragmatism stands over any need for overdressing, and she enjoys a pretty bauble as much as the next girl. However, there is only so much a girl can take before she craves a fight for what she wants.
