A noble house that died out, believed to be a cursed bloodline as the male heirs met their demise before extending the family line. Only survived by the female descendants, the Caliars are nowhere near regarded as a Great House but still have been allowed to continue their traditions in breeding Storm Dragons. There are only three known Storm Dragons taking to the skies, with only eight eggs in the Hatchery. They only bond with the bloodline of Calaerys.

Only one Storm Dragon resides in the vicinity of Thanasian land, the others sighted many decades ago have been believed to moved on past the protected lands and come part of the greater continent.

Nadya became bonded to the remaining Storm Dragon, Kalyss, at seventeen five years after beginning work with the dragons and learning about them. What were once the most famous of dragons to any Thunder, they were the lightning before the roar and were the first ones to arrive to war. Despite their bond of over a decade, Nadya still has a long way to go to get the great dragon to trust her and utilise his renowned power.
