Appearance
Tall and still growing, Mase is not the tallest of his class but maintains a big presence wherever he goes. Not overly muscular, he is sturdy and lean with a figure honed by the unrelenting lifestyle every Initiate endures. Mocha toned skin shows a few visible scars here and there, but Mase is notably quite unmarred for an Initiate of his age. Despite the cruelty faced while growing under the care of the Proctors, he has a curiously approachable demeanor. Mase carries himself with a dignity far quieter than most other noble Initiates. He keeps himself tidy and presentable at all times, as while he does not seem particularly concerned about what others think of him he does take some small amount of pride in his appearance.
Cleanliness is next to Godliness, after all.
Not often seen wearing plate armor, Maseno prefers light leather armor over layered robes that provide him ample movement and agility.
Maseno's most noteworthy attribute would be his amber eyes. In certain lights they show a rich reddish-brown, like fire caught in dark water. In other light they catch like the gleam of polished bronze. When actively using his magic, Maseno's eyes glow a molten golden color.

Skills and Abilities
Telekinesis: Highly gifted - Maseno has a talent for moving and controlling objects around him of varying sizes. As he continues to hone his ability he has become very capable with manipulating multiple objects at once for extended periods of time. This ability is his greatest strength and he continues to hone it under the expert tutelage of Dreadlord Zana Vjollca. Though Zana has encouraged Maseno to downplay his powers within the Academy, it has been hinted at more than a few times that he has all the potential and hallmarks of a future Archon.
Projectiles: Anything that travels a distance can become a lethal weapon. Maseno keeps a veritable collection of projectile weapons on him at all times that includes but is not limited to: throwing knives of varying sizes, darts, arrows, metal ball bearings of varying sizes and metal makeups, stone discs, and a pocketful of skipping stones (primarily for skipping, not for killing). Maseno is exceptionally lethal with a bow and arrow and uses specially crafted metal-shaft arrows with armor-piercing tips to quickly cull large groups of enemies.
Martial Prowess: Given that Maseno's build does not lend well to brute-forcing his way through combative situations, he has instead trained in various martial arts forms. He has a balanced combination of power and speed at his disposal that makes him a deadly opponent up close though he is not the fastest nor the strongest of his class.
Weapons: Maseno's sword dueling skills are good enough to keep the Proctors off his back but little more than that. He is not and never will be a great swordsman or warrior, but he is competent enough to get himself out of bad situations if needs be.
Personality
Not one to make waves nor become lost in the crowd, Maseno is the sort that falls well to the middle between the two ends of the Dreadlord Initiate personality spectrum. Easy going and approachable, Mase or "Maz" as some of the Initiates call him, is the sort that can rather easily find himself fitting into most clique or groups around campus. Social enough to be well-known but just reserved enough not to cause a stir, Maseno balances a life of dedicated study and practice against the new norm of being social post-revolution.
Like the other Initiates, the ability to forge friendships with the others has recently allowed this more amiable side of his show. Unlike most of the others, Maseno also leads a life of continued rigorous training under the watchful eye of Dreadlord Zana as well as a secret religious devotion implanted by his family.
