Luna Griffinsbane
Appearance
Luna is not very tall, nor built very athletically. She stands shorter than most of humanity, and has a delicate build that lacks the flattery of generous feminine traits. She is slender as a willow.
Luna has dark hair that she wears either loose or tied at the nape of her neck, framing a heart-shaped face. faint scarring is visible on the left side of her face. Her eyes are a luminous brown, seemingly larger than they actually are.
Luna tends to wear dresses, eschewing trousers or short skirts in a nearly prudish manner, and usually wears a hooded shawl as well with the hood drawn low to hide her face. A large part of that may be to do with hiding the scarring on her body as much as possible, a thing she is very sensitive about. She prefers darker colors to light.
She wears or carries no obvious weapons beyond a belt knife, more suited to work than fighting.

Skills and Abilities
Strengths:
Luna is half-fae, of the Sidhe. As such, she has the elemental affinities of fire first, and wind second.
Luna is born of a particularly potent line of Sidhe, and as such she has a great deal of magical potential She does not know spells in the traditional sense of the word, rather knowing how to affect the world in certain ways through the use of the prim.
Magic she uses packs far more a punch than it should, delivering far more force and more damage than normal.
Luna has a very, very strong affinity with the weather, and can manipulate it without thought and to a degree that is shocking. The talent can run wildly out of control quite easily, and often she is unaware of the fact that she is doing anything with the weather at all.
She uses magic as a method of communication; subtle and intricate use of wind elemental magic allows her to convey her words as she needs to, generally by altering the sounds of the natural world around her to evoke her thoughts.
Weaknesses
Luna can barely speak naturally; an injury suffered in her childhood has rendered her voice box mostly useless. When she speaks as thus, it is an ugly, coarse sound.
As is common among the Watered, Luna has very little control over her magical talent. Unlike a full-blooded Sidhe, she cannot control the potency of her magic and, quite often, cannot even control when and how the prim manifests itself around her. Its is not uncommon for unintentional magic use to occur in her presence, and not uncommon for that uncontrolled talent to cause collateral damage.
Her half-breed biology leads to other problems, as well. Magic use is twice as harmful and becomes dangerously so much more quickly for her. Although she tends to recover much more quickly than a full-blooded fae would from over-extending their abilities, she is prone to pushing herself too far much, much more easily.

Personality
Luna is quiet and reserved. She does not often speak at great length, preferring to use nonverbal language rather than the other methods of communication at her disposal.
Luna has a tenuous grip on reality. For one reason or another, she is more than a little mad; she believes that she is a priestess of a goddess that doesn't exist. What little she does say revolves around the tenets of her faith, a faith that is often contradictory and changes from day to day. She does not preach this faith, but she holds a conviction in the design the Goddess has set out for her.
She is devout to her beliefs, even if they meander, and will hear no ill word spoken of it.
