Lumi is a young woman attempting to find the incredible creatures and places her beloved older brother claimed to have encountered on his journeys.

Appearance

Lumi is somewhat tall and rather skinny. She prefers to keep her red hair up in elaborate, but messy, hairdos. Her bright yellow eyes stand out against her dark skin, which inspired her parents to name her Lumila. She wears a necklace with a large red pendant gifted to her by her brother; she normally stores a cockroach within it.

Personality

Lumi is a very outgoing, friendly person. This friendliness frequently strays into naivety. Her primary goal in life is to learn and experience as much as she can. Her enthusiasm extends to everything, so her fascination with gross subjects can be off-putting. She, being a practitioner of Entomancy, adores bugs. It's hard for someone to get on her bad side, but she'll do her best to defend others if she thinks that they need help.

Biography & Lore

Lumi grew up in a small, insulated village called Fallan. She was sheltered by her parents, who feared the dangers of the outside world. Her brother Kuran, however, took to wandering the world as soon as he was old enough to leave. Lumi idolized him and adored listening to his stories. Unbeknownst to her, the majority of them were completely made up. He was able to bring back beautiful trinkets and jewelry for her as well as money for the family, but failed to explain how exactly he obtained them. He was legitimately able to learn Entomancy and taught it to Lumi. Their parents disapproved of Kuran, but begrudgingly allowed him to visit due to the funds he brought in. Lumi recently left home in an attempt to go see what Kuran had spoken of in his fantastical tales herself, wholeheartedly believing that they existed despite her parents' insistence otherwise.
