Ledhros spent his childhood and youth as a camp follower to a warband: cook, scavenger, looter, mender of armor, sharpener of dull things. Mercenary leaders pressed him into armed service by giving him a spear and throwing him at the enemy. He gained a simple, useful reputation as a man who stays alive. As an adult, he parlayed that reputation into leading his own small mercenary group to modest success.

As a combatant, Ledhros is a generalist without formal training as nobles or experts would define it. He's a veteran of many skirmishes and minor sieges. His Elven mother left him a talent for the magical tradition known as mimicry. His use of this power at the siege of Cregsbend Castle earned him the appellation 'the Cregsbend Boar.'
