Appearance
At 17, Leander looks far older than he should if one ignores his handsome face. Broad shouldered and well-built, his body is a well-woven masterpiece of strong sinew and sturdy muscle. Quite pale and fair-skinned, Leander is prone to burning in the sun and often times the bridge of his nose and top of his cheekbones are tinged with a pink hue. His hair is the color of dry wheat and his eyes are a pale gold, hardly deeper in shade than his hair. His eye-lashes when catching sunlight look white, as does the overall sheen of his hair when in the sun. Has been rumored that Leander is the most handsome out of his three brothers, with even his sister (the third oldest in his family) being jealous of his mostly unblemished skin, straight nose and well-defined bone structure.
Skills and Abilities
Leander was blessed with two gifts which pleased the Urahil household upon the discovery of his magic. His first gift is to create a null dome which not only makes Leander resistant to magic but prevents any magic item, spell, or being (Even Leander himself) from using magic. This “null and void” space does take a huge arcane toll, however, Leander’s second gift was that he was blessed with such arcane might and stamina that such a feat won’t even be cause to break a sweat.
As the third youngest brother (fourth youngest in his family over all), when Leander displayed having magic at the age of 3, it was decided that he should be the one to join the academy. Partially because the middle child had shown not to have the aptitude for magic even at the age of 10, and his oldest brother was learning to hone his own arcane might at twelve. His mother seemed adamant to not let any of her children join the academy, but due to sickness she passed and Leander’s father sent his youngest son and daughter to the academy at the age of 4.
Leander prefers big swords like claymores, but is quite proficient in bow and arrow and using daggers. Can read, write, ride horses, swim, and is an extremely competent hand to hand combatant.
Leander has also spent a lot of time studying college magic. While he cannot use any magic when creating a null field, this does not mean he has only focused his studies on his magic. If anything, his talent with perfecting his magic was quite extraordinary. That being said, Leander has always understood magic and how it works, performing college magic spells well before being taught them. Whether he’s a natural with the arcane or just a savant, Leander utilizes a lot of college magic when he’s not cutting people down with his claymore.
