Knox Galvanus
Appearance
Wearing the appearance of an aged man, Knox has kept himself trim and styled. A strong jaw and piercing eyes lend themselves to the mans trade of both physician and undertaker. Short in stature, he does not carry himself with cowardice but rather a refined sense of purpose. His stride denotes confidence, his handshake announcing hidden strength, and is speech a testament to his learned ways.His hair is slicked back and away from his face at all times. Nails kept long and clean as an aesthetic choice to those that ask. Long arms flow through the air with practiced grace while examining a body for burial, and equally long legs carry him with steady authority whilst travelling.
His pale skin affirms his choice of working in the dim light, attributing it to necessity as burning easily in the daylight due to poor genetics. Typically a smile adorns his features, never hinting at the hunger that simmers below the veil of a well received man.
Skills and Abilities
Practical Medicines - Most would assume that Knox is an alchemist, and he does little to dissuade the notion. Decades of study have gone into his hobby to make him well versed in herbalism and home remedies.Human Biology - Acting as an undertaker, and not being afraid of what ails most humans has allowed him to autopsy numerous corpses and study the human body without question. As well as find the more delicious hidden pieces hidden from view.
Photo sensitivity - Due to being able to transform to some degree, a measured sensitivity to sunlight has been noted in him. Short periods in direct sunlight result in red agitated skin and welts. Prolonged exposure in varying degrees of burns and weakness.
Pyromancy - A small dabbling in magic out of boredom has given this vampire some ability with elemental fire. While not terrifically capable as others in a fight compared to his other skills, it is useful for starting campfires and lighting torches. An occasional fire-ball or flash of flames is handy when fighting though.
Physically Able - Passing himself for a man past his prime, his strength is nothing to be balked at. Easily capable of slinging a full adult male through the air, he does not require help when handling cadavers. In a fight, his transformed state has increased physical abilities while suffering acutely from his photo sensitivity.
Personality
Knox holds himself with refined dignity. His silvered tongue is his favorite asset, whether for speaking to common folk or nobles, enjoying the idle banter of either immensely. Aside from the typical hunger of a vampire, his thirst for knowledge trumps his more base desire.A tremendously cheery fellow in all rights, his time is usually spent whistling a tune while he works on the deceased, and engaging in conversation with those in his care. He enjoys both the solidarity of his work as an undertaker, and the strange though sometimes bewildering cases brought to him by caring for those as a physician.
