Ashvyr Justinian
Ash is a humble, modest knight who nevertheless struggles with a dark side, a contrast to a nature that only wants to deal justice and break the metaphorical, eternal night that seems to have overtaken so much of the land he loves can calls home.

Appearance
Lean and fit, Ash is a handsome fellow with no disturbing qualities about him save for a slightly troubled look in his eyes. He wears very little armor, but does sport a steel pauldron and gauntlets he rarely is seen without. His normal outfit is a light grey, cotton surcoat, finely woven, with embroidered designs over a comfortable white tunic. Brown trousers and boiled leather boots built for hard travel finish the outfit. While it has seen much wear and is not rich, he has maintained its cleanliness and in excellent condition.
His proudest attire is a long cape of his favorite light blue color. This matches the icy blue shade of his eyes, and even goes well with the ashy brown of his hair, which itself is cut long with windswept bangs. He is clean-shaven and clean regularly, believing this makes a good impression and compels others to treat him better. Usually, he is right.
For arms, Justinian carries a fine damascus dagger kept in a leather sheath at his right hip, wtih a rather plain but well made iron handle. A sword is sheathed at the other left side, made of keen steel with silver accents. He keeps this as clean as the rest of him.
Lastly, he sometimes wears a helm, noticeably fancier than anything else he has. It is mastercrafted, obviously suited for a great knight. Whether he is worthy of it is something he debates from time to time, and he tries to forget how he obtained such a prize.

Skills and Abilities
Very talented with the sword and shortblade. He knows a variety of moves and stances, most of them quick and precise. Cat on the Fence. Diving Hawk. Beauty of the Steed. Spinning Winds. Spinning Falcon. Not every stance has a name, of course, which makes Justinian simply more unpredictable, and therefore dangerous.
Justinian is not as burly or strong as other knights; rather, he makes use of speed, agility, and swift reaction time. He is sharply aware of the actions his foes make, which makes them vulnerable to attacks when they move, unaware of the openings only Justinian sees.
Justinian knows only one spell he has put little effort into mastering; a minor heal spell that he uses only in great need, since it is incredibly draining and he is no mage. While good for minor cuts and bruises, it is ill suited for serious lacerations and broken bones.

Personality
Troubled but honest. Struggles with his own flaws. Tries to accept himself but fails to satisfy his own demands.
