Carnivorous plant that entangles itself in bushes, tree branches, and other various game and bird habitats. Once contact with prey animals is made, it releases an adhesive to trap them before slowly contracting and wrapping around it. Only when they are completely wrapped around their prey do they begin secreting digestive chemicals, though the animal has typically suffocated by this point.

Some of the more callous Delta homesteaders use this plant to deter pests. Others harvest it for its spicy roots, which it can replant as needed.
