Delta Homesteaders
Amazingly, some people actually do live in the Iuk-'u Delta. Many are fugitives, running from the law and others were simply never at peace in their homelands. While this kind of life can be quite harsh, many such homesteaders have learned to live a moderately comfortable life in this place, growing rice and hunting as needed, sometimes even crafting and trading. Often times, scavengers will look to these people for information, supplies, and occasionally even room and board, depending on the disposition of the homesteader in question. While some of these homes are made entirely of wood planks, most are a kind of waddle and daub hut built upon stones reclaimed from the many ruins scattered throughout the Delta.
