Kieran Leal
Kieran was born and raised a slave, forced to fight in gladiatorial combat from a young age for their master's entertainment. They encountered a mysterious golden blade that seemed to speak to them, and before they knew it, they’d slaughtered their master and his family. Forced to become a fugitive, Kieran sought to understand the power contained in their new weapon, and their search brought them to Elbion.
Appearance
A grey skinned tiefling, though you wouldn’t guess just looking at them. Their horns, the defying characteristic of the race, were cut off at a young age as their master decided they could prove to be a liability to Kieran in the gladiatorial ring. Only stubs were left behind, which they cover with a hood most of the time – not necessarily to conceal their race, but their identity as a whole. They have pupilless golden eyes and long white hair that their wear in a braid. The sides of their head are shaved and covered in intricately designed tattoos, as well as a smaller design on their forehead. Their left forearm bears another tattoo, this one with a design that is harder to make out due to the scars over it, but it has the characteristics of a brand, and it seems to say “XVI” – 16.
Skills and Abilities
Combat training: Kieran was raised to be a gladiator, and thus has the necessary training. They are skilled in the most varied forms of combat, though their preferred weapon is a sword.
Unnatural swordsmanship and strength: When under the influence of their cursed blade, they exhibit skills and strength that would be out of the range of someone with their training and physique, though they cannot control what they do in this state and will have no memories of it.

Personality
They have too much anger within them for one so young, but it is to be expected considering their past. They are aware of their own capacity for incredible violence, and much of their energy is spent trying to contain it – though most of the time, it isn’t up to them. They are often lost in their own mind, fighting the influence of their cursed blade which seems to whisper the vilest of things to them. They have a desire to correct the evils of the world so that no one else suffers through what they did, and the entity in the blade latches onto that to control them.
To the outer world, they are distant and mysterious, and this is by design. They are afraid of what the blade might make them do to anyone they get close to. Besides, their entire life before escaping slavery, they never knew who they’d have to fight next, so it best to not make friends lest you be facing them in combat the next day. They are also very cunning and street smart, they had to be to survive.
