Dragon

Argoroth is the colossal red dragon that Khaato bonded to during the Rising. While not the absolute largest dragon known in Thanasis, he would be a valid contender for the second largest. As a wild red dragon, he is difficult for his rider to control.

Combat
As a red dragon, Argoroth uses his fiery breath and huge size to his advantage. Up close, his fire is hot enough to turn normal humans to ash in the blink of an eye and melt steel in a matter of seconds. His body often even radiates intense heat, and can be painful to touch when he is about to breathe fire. Being such a large dragon, Argoroth's fire breath could engulf an entire battalion in a single blast. He's cumbersome in the air due to his size, but his sheer physical strength makes him a deadly opponent in a melee.

Biography & Lore

Born to Thanasian peasants in one of the more remote villages. As a child, they made the dangerous trek to the city proper in hopes of a better life. While the city's walls and dragons kept them safe from the monsters that roamed Malakath's wilderness, there was little hope for raising one's station. Most of those who loves comfortable lives were born into wealth or were extremely lucky to found thriving businesses. The Khusakhane family, simple farmers and hunters, were not among them, and they struggled to find a skillset suited for life in the city.

Khaato put some of the skills he learned out in the wilds to use in the city. Humans were prey in Malakath, little more than mice to the monsters of Malakath. Like mice, they survived by making themselves unknown, and that was how he operated in Thanasis. He burgled houses, plucked valuables from the pockets of nobles and merchants, and snuck the dark streets of the city hunting for opportunities.

There was opportunity in the Rising, deadly as it was. He was no warrior, but Khaato knew a thing or two about sneaking around dangerous beasts. He planned for the event, gathering supplies for what was likely to be a suicide mission. He just had to hope he could survive three days.
