Fabien D'Amour
The third oldest child of the D'Amour family, Evangeline's precious younger brother, and Vittoria's bestie.
Appearance
Following in his older sister's footsteps, Fabien holds himself to high standards and keeps himself in immaculate condition. Unlike Evangeline, he does so for the purpose of being flashy rather than professional. He keeps his light silver hair coiffed to perfection and has crystal blue eyes. He likes to dress preppy and usually sports earrings of some sort. He is lean and muscular and has sharp facial features.
Skills and Abilities
- Duelist: Fabien lives for a good one-on-one fight (any chance to show off), and is quite skilled with his preferred weapons: a thin falchion in his main hand and a swordbreaker in his off hand.
- Amplification: The apples of D'Amour magic don't fall far from the tree; much like his older sister, Fabien's magic is both versatile and borderline conceptual. His magic, amplification, allows him to boost the force behind his physical actions or objects he interacts with in rather clever ways. For example, a snap of his fingers can be amplified to become a thunderclap, or a swing of his sword can be amplified to create a condensed plane of wind as sharp as the blade itself. Amplification can also boost the efficacy of others' magic, as long as Fabien maintains physical contact with that person.
- Jock: Fabien is proficient at many sports, which he participates in as extracurriculars at the Academy.
Personality
Supremely proud and rather full of himself. Fabien believes that he is the closest thing to manifesting perfection that the Academy has seen since his sister attended and is all too happy to showboat the D'Amour family pride. He loves having eyes on him and appearing better than others, to the point where he'll merrily bully those he deems as lesser.
Despite that, Fabien genuinely cares very deeply for the few who he deems worthy of his time and attention. Those who manage to push the right buttons might just find out how much of his bravado is a facade and how much is honest.
