Son to traveling butcher Eberhard Ebersol and his wife Mio from an island far from Vel Anir, Everett has learned the trade of slaughter from his father. Named after his grandfather, Everett thought himself to be an only child. Turned out he had an older sister, meeting her when he was fifteen as he traveled to Arnim. It was because of this meeting, or really, the betrayal of his parents omitting Everleigh from their stories, that he was eager to go to the Guard. It was only supposed to be a year, but the freedom was too tempting.

He accepts the tradition he must carry, as one of the last traveling butchers in Vel Anir, but for now, he seeks the thrill of opportunity presented by the Guard. And perhaps to hide the secret meeting with his sister.
