Eryn has a lively and energetic personality. She is chatty and social with everybody and tries her best to make sure everyone who comes to the tavern is having a good time. A people person.

However she is a very flighty person. She startles and scares easily and will most likely cling to the closest person available for protection. She is not a brave person at all... But if properly motivated she will fight, even if it kills her.

Eryn grew up her whole life in the little town of Little Portshaw. A fairly secluded fishing village around the area close to Belgrath and the Iuk-'u Delta. Her parents were both drunks and did little in the way of raising her. So she made up for her practical lack of parentage with the people of the village and the sailors and fishermen that would sometimes pass through.

She would listen to their stories and fell in love with the sea and all its mysteries and dangers. One day she would love to be whisked away on a ship and see the world.

When she became older she got a job at the inn and she absolutely loved it. Her boss told her that they needed customers to keep coming and the way you do that is by being pleasant and friendly. She did just that and customers did indeed keep coming. She learned about the world at a fairly young age, but she never let the world get her down. The village never had enough coin to go around, and what coin they did have came from the occasional trade that came through, but nobody ever went hungry.

She served food and drink to those who paid for it, and was always willing to listen and talk to anyone who needed it. Sometimes men paid her for favors and her boss would always nod to her whenever this happened. Sometimes what a man needed to put the past behind him was a gentle touch of flesh over the temporary poison of drink. So she was never without coin or means of survival.

She spent her life this way, working the tavern and meeting many adventurers and travelers, but all of them were only passing through, and non of them ever came back, save one man. Willis Reede. He was a monster hunter on an escort mission of sorts. He stopped in the village of Little Portshaw and was met by the lovely bar maiden. Eryn took a liking to him instantly, and over the course of his stay in Little Portshaw they got to know each other very well. They spent nights together and Eryn began to feel like he just might be the one. But for her own piece of mind, she wanted to know if he would truly come back for her if he left.

But until he leaves she spends every moment she can with her new lover, going on many dates and adventures with him. Dreams of spending her life with him dance in her mind constantly, and one day actually leaving her home in Little Portshaw to finally see the world.

Reality is rarely so simple. There have been hardships that they had to share in for their very survival and her life has been in danger more than once, but through it all her love for Willis grew.
Over time he decided to finally teach her the skills of a monster hunter, and she dove into the lessons eagerly, finally seeing hope that her life wasn't meant to be one of docile helplessness.
