Common Knowledge

Fame: Unknown Slave
Erendrial is a slave on the island of Argul Atoll, owned by the Slave Master and Pirate Warlord Dragut. While he was once a pleasure slave, he is now forced into the fields to earn coin through crops. Alongside him stands the rest of his clan, or those who were fortunate enough to be bought in bulk twenty years prior. While they struggle to survive under the pirate's harsh rule, Erendrial prepares himself for a final confrontation - unable to live the life of a slave any longer.

Appearance

Erendrial is young, youthful in appearance but old in the set of his face. There is a darkness in his eyes that show little more than anger and emptiness - the reflection of a world he had been battered and beaten into. His hair is long but scraggled, interlaced with split ends and sun damaged strands, while his face carries the light flecks of scarring from long hours in the field. His eyes are pale, his scowl set grim, but he is not an unnatractive slave for all that he has ordealed.
It was his body that carried and caused much of his hardship. Lithe as his people are, built for long travel, he has an agile beauty that only hurt him in his youth. Pirates rarely discerned field slave from pleasure slave, and for that he suffered all the more. It was only after he had grown scarred from lashings, strong from field work, and too strong to beat alone that he was given the 'grace' of hours in the sun. When his youthful beauty left him, there was nothing left but an tool to plow fields, earn his master money, and struggle for his meals.

Skills and Abilities

While once Erendrial held the skills of a growing warrior of the Sand Elves, no longer does that exist. His hands do not have the trained dexterity to twirl a knife or strike with a sword - no the slave has been reduced to a lean bulk of a farmer. Yet he has none of the mass one might expect, partially due to genetics, more likely his lack of sustenance to feed a growing build.
Beyond a strength from years of labor, he holds little else. He can not read, he can not use magic, he can not do anything - for he has done nothing. He is not a tactical genius nor a prodigy waiting to be cracked open from the geode he was held within. He is a slave beginning to end, and nothing but his anger keeps him going forward.

Personality

As a child, it was said Erendrial of the Lutris Clan was a happy and prodigal child in the way of combat. Many looked upon him as a joyous boy, who played with the sand during rare rains to build himself walls and towers. He cared for his family, his kin, and his clan without hesistation - handing away his rations in a gesture of generosity rarely seen amongst his age. All of these stories spoke of a young man yet uncorrupted by the darkness of the world.
His loss of innocence came when he was taken into slavery, and hardship after hardship reforged a bright young man into a bitter and resentful creature. With sisters were taken to tend the Manor, his brothers were whipped until they could plow a field on little more than a touch of bread and fear. Witnessing these things broke him, forced him to lose all hope of saviors or heroes - all which had guided him as a youth. Even his gods were abandoned in favor of atheistic anger - waiting for his day to enact justice on those who had wronged him.

Biography & Lore

Born during a sandstorm, Erendrial was often referred to as a 'Dustborn' child - a good omen for his tribe. Those born under the cloud of a storm were marked for good favors in battle; and for this he was greatly celebrated by his Father and Mother, as his older brother had been born fragile and sickly. From an early age his Father had raised him with combat in mind - pressing a blade into his hand at only three.
However, at only five his tribe came under attack by a rival clan. The Lutris Nomads were assaulted by the combined strength of the Korfir and a band of mercenaries they had hired - all over hunting rights both Clans squabbled over. His parents were killed in this assault alongside many of the elders and adults. The rest were kidnapped as prisoners of war - and sold in the Annuakat markets.
While most were split among pirate lords and random slave traders, a large section were bought and paid for by a Black Bay Warlord. The Warlord, known as Dragut, had bought him and his kin with the express purpose of making them work slaves - house and field, the pirate wanted a profitable base of operations to build out of.
It was here, on the Island of Argul Atoll, that he spends his days - abused and beat, assaulted and scarred, that his anger grows. He has spent 23 years a slave, and his birthsign quakes in his heart. All that he could have been was taken from him, from his kin, leaving little more than a husk of an elf behind.
