Clark is the former captain of the broken swords mercenary group. With many an achievement to his name, and many more battles under his belt, he had always born a reputation of a fierce warrior. His company, however, were annihilated during the siege of Alliria, with him being the only one saved from death by Dauner. From then on, he pledged fealty and became a sword exclusively for Dauner's use.
