Appearance

Azul looks like a young adult, but his silver eyes and bone white hair that reaches his ankles are misleading for he has been around for a little wile.. The Priest Azul wears white clothing that suits his profession, long boots and a robe that covers his neck with a a wide turtleneck collar. The long robes are tied together with a flat rope, around his neck he wears a loose fitted scarf that falls over his shoulders, to keep him warm during the colder months of the year. Under his clothing he wears the Necklace of Luminia, a small golden sacred necklace with a white glowing crystal.

Powers and Abilities

Power: Holy blood magic
As a highly skilled user of holy blood magic, Azul is capable to use his holy sense to detect nearby suffering beings, and can heal injured ones using his blood. Magical wounds require extensive treatment depending on the condition.

Because Azul is a human ghost, he has not enough magical energy to cast directly in his human form, and must cast in his ghost form unless he drinks blood. Drinking blood increases and recovers Azul his own blood the point where he can briefly cast in human form, but also makes his holy sense dull and his irises bright red for several days.

Ability: Ghost form
Moonlight allows Azul to transform into a white transparant ghost. Whilst in this form the priest can access and use his magical powers, can speak telepathically to people in the area and he is able to see without light. The priest is fully dependable on moonlight to enter or sustain his ghost form and therefore cannot move trough solid materials. Whilst in this form Azul cannot attack and can only be injured by silver or magic.

Ability: Undead
Because Azul is undead, his body has no sustainable needs. Azul can be temporarily immobilized trough attacks with silver, or permanent, till it is undone by someone else, trough separated mummification of body parts. Certain powerful magical rituals can strip him of his undeath state of being.

Necklace of Lumina - A small golden sacred necklace with a white glowing crystal attached to it. In emergencies Azul can use the light radiating from the crystal to read texts in the dark. The necklace is almost always worn under his clothing.

Personality

[+] Strategist - Likes to play mind games with people. Azul has a knack for politics and enjoys planning things in advance. A trait he learned during his early life, when he watched people in the streets of Areck.

[-] Clumsy - Two left hands without doubt, most technical jobs have turned into a mess.. Azul broke a snake vase in a shop ones, he almost got bitten. The priest likes to watch people doing their jobs.

[+/-] Can read and write - Learned to read and write from his old mentor, often practiced during the colder months of the year. The white priest has worked in various of literate places trough his life.

[+/-] Loves fireplaces - Few things are so enjoyable for the priest as cozy fireplaces. Azul can spend hours reading in front of one, lying down on a fluffy blanket.

[+/-] Priesthood - Being a priest, Azul can marry people, hold ceremonies and take confession. It also means he is devout and less attached to possessions. Azul his priesthood does not forbid marriage.

Biography & Lore

Azul his life began in the Slums of Areck, located on the edges of the city known as Alliria. His parents where murdered by bandits when he was young, and he had to grew up fast to survive. Till the age of 12 he lived on the streets, begging and stealing his way to a filled tummy. As he grew older he was found by the Moon Cult of Alliria, a sacred order of priests who pray each night to the moon for her favors.

Azul became a priest and learned their craft. Over the years he traveled across the globe to various literate organisations to learn. He could not believe it when he was discovered as an user of holy blood magic by the librarians of Telloran. In rage his own order attempted to murdered him, Azul refused to die and begged the moon to stay alive, turning him into a human ghost. Bound in service to the holy light of the dark, the Moon Cult of Alliria started to revere him, and he had to escape te city to retain his freedom.
