Awlyn Elrod
Born into a minor noble family that fell from grace shortly after her birth, Awlyn Elrod was sent to the Astenvale Monastery by her parents to escape the repercussions of her family's actions. She trained hard with the Knights of Anathaeum and just recently was sworn into the order.
Appearance
Awlyn is a tall, athletic young woman. She has curly dark hair which she usually styles in a bun and bangs. Her eyes are rich brown color. Most of the time she can be seen with her lips painted golden, and that is the only makeup she wears. Her preference in terms of clothing is cloaks and overcoats in a red color.
Skills and Abilities
Fencing: Awlyn is most skilled with a rapier in hand.
Spellsword: Specializing in the Pursuit of the Flame, she is able to use elemental magic to complement her combat abilities.
Healing magic: Although not her specialty, she, like all other Knights of Anathaeum, has studied the Pursuit of Life and can use healing magic if absolutely necessary.
Hand-to-hand combat: Not her preferred method of fighting, but she knows how to use her athletic build and strength in her favor.

Personality
Awlyn is a very solemn person. She is honest to a fault, often coming across as blunt. Very organized and dedicated, she is her worst critic and tends to be somewhat single-minded. Her desire to be better and to please her superiors, especially as she's just been made a knight, often causes her a great deal of anxiety. Though she might seem intimidating, she cares deeply for those who become her friends and is incredibly loyal. She has a very strong moral compass.
Biography & Lore
Awlyn was born into a minor noble family that quickly fell from grace after her birth as a consequence of shady dealings and bad politics. Her parents wanted to protect her from the repercussions of the family's actions, and so they sent her to the Astenvale Monastery at a young age. She has not heard from them since, and has very few memories of them.
At the monastery, she began her training as a squire and took to it very quickly, as she enjoyed the focus it gave her. She dedicated herself fully to her studies and finally became a Knight Sworn, placed into the Sanctum of Dawn.
