Aden Anireth (King Aden II)
Appearance
In his younger years, Aden might have been considered to be a rather handsome man, although much has changed between then and now. They say that stress can age oneself quicker, and even for a King, this is evidently true. Aden's once radiant shoulder-length golden hair has begun to fade, showing many gray hairs, with the gold having seemingly begun to drop from his hair. His beard too will fade, and long before his hair does, with whatever color he had left in his beard having moved on, only a few golden hairs remaining there.
Skills and Abilities
Although little more than an indoctrinated figurehead puppet, Aden nonetheless was given a better upbringing and education than any other in the city of Vel Anir. He carries with him a repressed intelligence, which he fears could lead to the Great Houses trusting him less, and he attempts to be nothing more than an unambitious man.
Several skills stick with him, such as his sword fighting younger days, his archery skills, and his sense of humor. Aden is a charismatic man, and spends much of his time not reading socializing with others.
Personality
Maybe early on in his life, he was ambitious, maybe he believed that he could break the wheel, restore the House Anireth to glory, so on and so forth. Whatever spark of hope for that idea there was, there is no more. He dedicates himself fully to his 'duties' as 'King', attending ceremonies in all their false splendor, although in later years, he has allowed his son, Veran Anireth, to go in his stead. He believes that he cannot do anything but sit in his misfortune and take advantage of what he can, using the wealth that they are given as a distraction to their situation to better his life and the lives of his family.
Overall, he is a charismatic and jovial man, and after decades of being a laughingstock puppet King, has come to merely laugh off any insults he receives.
