Andrea Tolsuna
Appearance
Almost every detail about Andrea's appearance betrays a life of privelege and money. Her long, black hair is meticulously well cared for, with it's curls it reaches just below her shoulder blade. Her makeup is always expertly applied to bring out the bright blue of her eyes, her lips painted red. Her hands are delicate, not a callous to be found. Though she is shorter than the average human, and of slim frame, she carries herself tall, moving with a confidence that rivals the chivalrous knights.
Her choice of attire only adds to this - a trim, tight fitting black leather vest, layered over a white shirt with puffy sleeves. Black leather gauntlets with a series of runic etchings marked into them. Tight fitting black pants, tucked into black leather boots. A set of black belts to carry her pouches and blade sheathes. It's a choice of attire that almost immediately marks her as a duelist, and the pair of blades strapped to her belts only adds to the suggestion.

Skills and Abilities
Spellblades
Andrea has two spellblades at her disposal - the first of which is a long, thin sword. It's blade is iridescent - primarily violet, shifting in color to greens and yellows depending on how the light hits it. The second is a small, curved dagger with a very pointed tip, similarly made out of the iridescent metal.
As a swordsman, Andrea is fairly skilled. She prefers a fighting style based in finesse and agility; dodging and slicing swiftly rather than attacking with any sort of brute force. Her dagger is rarely used in a fight, but can be pulled from it's sheathe quickly for a surprise attack.
The real benefit of these weapons is their ability to channel magic, which she uses frequently in lightning based attacks, carving runes into surfaces (or even in mid-air, for certain runes), and adding an elemental effect to the blade.

Runic Magic
Most of Andrea's talents with magic rely on her ability to prepare before a fight. Using her spelldagger, she can draw runes into almost any surface. When she is anticipating a fight, she will meticulously prepare several runes ahead of time to ensure she is well prepared for any possibility.
Andrea can draw runes directly onto the skin, either herself or others. These runes generally imbue the person with temporary powers - a "Blur" rune can be used to greatly enhance their speed for a short window. A "Stoneflesh" rune will make them nearly invulnerable for just a few seconds. There are numerous possibilities, and Andrea spends a great deal of time studying runic magic to broaden her options.
She can also draw runes on items, forging them into magical objects or weapons. These effects tend to be much more passive and therefore longer lasting. Communication stones, enchanted weapons or armor, that sort of thing.
Finally, she can use the runes in combat as traps. Runes on the walls or floors that trigger when approached, creating a minefield of effects to control the flow of battle and give her the upper hand.

Ritualistic Magic
Outside of combat, Andrea is well versed in a variety of rituals. As a Mage Hunter, many of the rituals she has practices revolve around the disabling of magic abilities, or undoing harmful magical spells. These rituals take time, concentration, and reagents to complete, and so can only be performed in a safe place where she can trust not to be disturbed.
Personality
The first thing to note about Andrea is that she is very distrustful of magic users and magical creatures. This distrust does not mean that she hates them, however - Andrea can frequently be seen in the company of those who have proven their trustworthiness to her. But to those just meeting her, that trust is a hard thing to earn and she can be quite unforgiving of any missteps.
Aside from that, Andrea is very self confident. Her mind is as sharp as a tack, and so is her tongue. She can be quick to offer sarcastic, almost scathing replies. She can often very much be an "ends justify the means" sort of person, unafraid of taking risks not just of her own life, but also of those around her, as long as it bears the promise of saving even more lives down the road. Lose a few to save many, as needed.
Despite all of that, she is a fiercely loyal person, dedicated to her mission of dealing with magical threats to society. That dedication even carries with it a certain charisma that some like-minded individuals might flock to.

Biography & Lore
As a Mage Hunter, Andrea Tolsuna has traveled the world in pursuit of her mission. She has never answered specifically why she does what she does, but those who know her know that when she arrives in a new place, it is because she is chasing rumors of some elusive magical being that's caused a little too much trouble.
In some parts of the world, her battles against rogue mages were quite public, leading to certain magic-friendly communities barring her from entry entirely. This, coupled with the rumors that she has on occasion actually stripped a mage of their connection to magic, has not endeared her to the magical community at all. Andrea, of course, denies these claims.
In more recent years however, Andrea has begun traveling with the most unlikely of companions - a very cheery woman by the name of Cinnamon. They make for a very unique pair, which Andrea's more sour demeanor contrasting strangly against Cinny's sunny disposition. But they are equally loyal to one another, and have been inseperable ever since their first meeting.
