May no Fae of any realm deny the truth behind these titles. Asemir is a Fae whose life has spanned countless millennia and he has lived them all as fully as the realms allow. A known entity across all Fae Courts, Parlours, and planes, Asemir spent his days at the various Courts of his past forging bridges and infamy wherever he went. Since his rise to fame and power, Asemir has driven across the known landscape of his kin and kind, equally impressing fear and awe, respect and terror. It all depended on what side of the war or the Erlking's moral compass you sat. The scars and tattoos dominating his appearance have made him easy to spot, find, or avoid. Despite his otherwise even temperament, those who know of his history often grant Asemir a heavy amount of respect regardless of his station or current title.

Appearance

Tall and broad, Asemir's countenance is that of something carved from granite. Famously handsome in his youth, he garnered the attentions of nearly any Fae Lady to note in the Summer Court. He sports long, straight hair of platinum blond often kept loose when out socially, or pulled back into tied braids when active or in battle. His striking gaze is that of frigid glaciers that shift from a moony silver to frosted blue, setting him apart from the usual gold and honey hues of his Summer kin.

Most notably, Asemir is recognized for the glaring scars that dominate the left side of his face, neck, and upper torso. Remnants of near-mortal wounds received during The Great Reclamation War, inflicted by powerful magic, they were unable to be healed or magically hidden. These scars transfer between his humanoid and stag form.

After leaving his home to join the Winter Court, Asemir sported short, shorn hair for a length of several hundred years. Upon joining the Wild Hunt, he allowed it to grow long again. In his time spent roaming far and wide he added a large collection of tattoos to his figure, all representing his life's journey in some way, shape, or form.

As the years continue to grow, the glint of wanderlust has faded from his gaze. No longer does Asemir desire adventure or great excitement. He has leveled from a wild, vibrant, untamed gale to a calm and steady breeze. Though Fae generally value youth and beauty, age has arguably been very kind to Asemir. He has gained a roguish charm uncommon to his kin and he still cleans up nicely when he needs to.

Duanann Affinity

Though known more popularly as the Lord of the Lunar Winds by the general population, those who served in battle alongside Asemir know of the greater power at his disposal. His Affinity to Valor has been both a unifying boon and a horrifying curse when swords are drawn. Capable of bolstering the courage and acuity of his commanded legions in war, Asemir's warriors and battle companions were forces to be reckoned with when empowered by his battle meditation.

Standing one on one against the Valor of the Rising Sun or the Gale of the Frozen Speare almost assuredly meant one's downfall. Asemir's mastered talents of imbuing others with righteous fear and sapping their personal stores of valor gave him an undeniable upper hand, even when his own physical strength, fighting skill, and battle prowess had already set him on a pedestal.

These powers, however, did not lend well to maintaining himself aesthetically. They draw from his own natural abilities to magically heal - resulting in scars where there would not have been on any other Fae. This mean battle wounds were much more grievous when received if he had been drawing on his Affinity powers - so Asemir often had to be very strategic on when and where to use them. As well, his Valor has left him with a curious case of missing fear. In his youth this had made him rather foolhardy and willing to jump at any challenge that he was not yet prepared or ready to face. He was, at times, known to abuse his ability to empower and engender fear in others when it pleased him, which did not give him a fair reputation. While it allows him to stand, unflinching, before beings who made others quake, it also informs him of the fear or valor in others.

Celestial Alignment

Asemir was born the black sheep of the House of the Phoenix, arriving early and strongly during the night with full moons hanging in the sky. His magic is stronger when a moon is in the sky (regardless of the time of day), and is the most potent at the winter solstice.

Elemental Alignment

The Gales of the Seas, High Mountain Peaks, Tundra Plains, Open Steppes, Rolling Stretches, Endless Deserts, Meandering Valleys, and Wild Skies course through the veins of the Lord of the Lunar Winds. Asemir calls upon the powers of the wind as easily as he breaths, and commands such a control that in choosing which direction he draws the winds from he can alter the weather and temperature of the landscape around him to a certain point. While he cannot create storms upon a whim, if storms exist on the horizon he can use these powers to draw them forth to his location.

On battle fields he has been seen bending the air around him as a shield and as a weapon, using it to buffer attackers or corral them within a squall. He is even capable of controlling air to such a degree he is able to suffocate his enemies. During a ride with the Wild Hunt he was seen conjuring a tornado and directing it into a legion of orcs, decimating their numbers in mere moments.

Often his presence is heralded by a gentle breeze, and in his own Grove at Kor Aren a myriad wind chimes hang within the open Gorge that sing of his arrivals and departures, and even his moods.

Animal Shape

Asemir can assume the form of a large white stag. As duanann, this secondary shape is unique to him but as familiar as the humanoid body he was born into. His scars transfer between his animal form and his fae form, making him easy to identify.
