"Will you please stop squirming so much," she tutted as she fixed the dark green dress that barely fit around Kaius' chest. "I'm not happy either," she scowled, dressed in a very pink-frilly gown. With heels. And white satin gloves. Gods, she hated it.
"We need to sneak into the ball and find the envelope for the next clue without getting caught," she reminded Kaius gently. "And I truly think being disguised will give us an advantage over the others," she commented matter-of-factly. Why they'd signed up for this scavenger hunt as a vacation was beyond her. But now that they were playing, she was determined that they win. "You'll just need to remember to hide your bearded face behind the fan and don't talk so deep and sexy."
