They were nearly a hundred in number. Refugees, adventurers, hunters, mercenaries, merchants and their caravan hands. They, all of them, bound for Alliria from the eastern edges of the Allir Reach. A gathering of those on a common journey. They who had come together for safety and companionship...
A coalition of near one hundred common travelers--refugees, merchants, adventurers, mercenaries--journeying to Alliria through a snowy pine forest. The calm of dawn shattered as they are beset by unknown attackers. There is only one objective: survive.
No strict posting order, little to no DM'ing from me, drop in and drop out as you like, I'm just trying to set a stage that's easy to get into and open to anyone. Bring your own ideas if you like! The attackers could be anyone or anything, or a coalition of baddies all unto themselves, more than just bow users. Maybe someone sold everyone else out. Maybe there's something incredibly valuable/powerful/forbidden that one of the merchants or mercenaries is transporting. Maybe there's someone among the travelers that's important to your character and needs rescuing/capturing.
Thread will be as short or as long as need be covering this single event.
