Rumour has it, in the forest of Falwood, somewhere just outside Fal'Addas and even within the city itself, there have been incidents.
The Nobles of Fal'Addas would never admit to such things, but some say that a few of the city's greatest wizards have had a falling out with the Elders. Though at first the clash seemed little more than a disagreement, it was only a matter of time before things grew foul.
A village only an hour's ride from the gates was destroyed, without a single survivor or corspe found. Three days later, another occurance.
Then, the unthinkable. A murder, within the city itself.
An Elder, and no ordinary one at that. Elder Inisil Torinfur, a rather influential individual among the people, and city as a whole. He was said to have been especially responsible for the mages' frustration. And now it seemed to have taken its toll.
But no one has heard tell of the mages for weeks, and the devastation in the outlying villages appears to be the work of necromancers. But nothing is certain.
A few fearful, and perhaps wiser Elders have decided to send word to Arethil. Commissioning their servants to the task, the Elders' bulletin was posted at every tavern, guild hall and even at the doorsteps of royal castles.
