Private Tales Paradise Awaits

A private roleplay only for those invited by the first writer
{"I am one of the lucky ones...."} Aiya answered him, and though her words were foreign, her tone and expression told of a touchy subject.

She glanced up at the little creature with a smooth frown {"Mika?"} she asked and looked back at him with a shake of her head.. {"There are many in the trees, this one was alone, she wasn't strong enough to survive.. Don't they have trees where you are from?"}

There was water far closer to the village than this. In fact it surrounded their entire home, their stilted huts being built around the largest waterfall on the island. A few steps down, and he could've washed with everyone else, but up here she'd rarely ever seen anyone else, and if anyone else saw that he'd healed so rapidly on his own, well either he or she would be accused of bearing magic that they'd no right to, and she'd had enough drama for one week.

Her teeth shone as she laughed at him.. {"They don't have mountains where you are from either? It is just.. Flat land? No trees, no mountains and no water?"} she smirked.. {"It's quiet up here."} she explained, sweeping aside the curtain of child-sized leaves and stepping over the rocks to the edge of the spring.

The cool water formed a large pool, surrounding by lush green plants and vine-covered trees, with brilliant bursts of colour here and there from the various flowers that bloomed far more vibrantly up here. She supposed it had something to do with the water's warmth and mineral, or that it was so close to their most sacred of places, that which gave life itself.

Smooth rock surrounded the pain pool in a crescent, forming natural steps that rose up into the mountain, water tumbling down in an endless cascade and forming little springs in the rock that were always pleasantly hot. Aiya hopped up onto one of the rocks that overhung the water and sat herself down to dip her toes. Of course, there were many other 'Mikas' chirruping and swinging themselves around in the surrounding trees, now apparently so used to her presence to be disturbed by it.
