On the road, it was crowded at times, and Visseth didn't like crowded. Instead, she'd stray from the path a little ways, which lead to the female getting distracted. How?
She found a snake, quietly curled around a branch.
It was by nature that she wanted to interact with said snake, as she felt more close with snakes than humanoids.
She'd likely either adopt it, or just coexist with it for a little while.

Mae softly hums a tune under her breath as she walks among the crowds heading here and there. She kept her hood up and her head down, not wanting to draw attention to herself. Usually, she was good at avoiding running into people and things but she wasn't immune to accidents. She feels her shoulder lightly brush against someone next to her and is quick to angle her body and step away, making sure to not make too big of a fuss about it as she looks up and says, "My apologies." Except there was no one there to apologize to. She pauses and looks around to try and find the one she had almost run into but to no avail. Either she had imagined it or they were quicker than she was.

She takes a few steps to get out of people's way as they continue past her and begins to start walking again but then she spots someone over by a tree, gazing into the branches most curiously. Always drawn to the odd ones, Maeanna looks in the direction she was heading before looking back toward the being and the tree. After a moment of consideration, she leaves the road and walks over to the tree. "Hello," she says as she steps up on the being's right side, her gaze moving from her face to the branch where she spots the snake, taking a moment to observe it, and back again.

The scaled and scarred woman was usually perceptive, but with her focus set on the wild snake she'd stumbled upon. A hand was slowly out, stretching towards the creature. Visseth's goal was of course to pet the cold blooded being, but it would recoil a bit.

Wild snakes were sometimes apprehensive, but that didn't stop her anyways. By the time the red-headed woman got close, she was already about to pet it.

Both the snake and Visseth would look over towards the newcomer. Visseth herself had a blank expression, and stared. The wild snake would of course begin hissing towards them. It likely didn't like the odds, but like most snakes, it stood its ground, and watched for movement. Then, with a wave of the womans hand, it seemed to calm. A spell, one could assume.

Visseth would then finally speak. "What brings you here?..."
